Jane
Abbate is the founder of Messy Miracles, a Christian ministry dedicated
to offering compassion and hope to women and men who have experienced
abortion.
Sharing her deeply personal story, Jane educates audiences about both the
obvious and hidden impacts of abortion, helping to increase awareness and
understanding. Her testimony offers encouragement that healing from grief,
pain and guilt is possible.

Jane feels especially called to spread the word of God's love and
forgiveness. This gift, which He offers to all of us - no matter what - is
the greatest miracle of all. With an open mind and a loving heart, Jane
lights a path to a future filled with hope.
Jane is active with the Rachel's Vineyard program and serves as a retreat
team member in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Wheeling, West Virginia. She
resides in Pittsburgh and is a certified professional business coach.

Who has abortions?
About half of American
women have experienced an unintended pregnancy, and at current rates, more
than one-third will have had an abortion by age 45.
Each year, 2% of women aged 15-44 have an abortion; 48% of them have had at
least one previous abortion.
43% of women obtaining abortions identify themselves as Protestant, and 27%
as Catholic.
Over 60% of abortions are among women who have had one or more children.
